Masthope, PA – Reliant Interval Solutions, LLC (RIS), a Stroudsburg based company announced early last week that the two remaining timeshare units, #455 Eagle Rock Road and #457 Eagle Rock Road will be sold in an “Auction Style” sale February 21st and 22nd, 2015 on-site and online through the internet.

At a special Membership meeting held September 20, 2014 RIS, LLC informed the members, the Board of Directors, etal and Country Squire, the holders of the timeshare at Masthope that it was imperative the Association liquidate the two homes as quickly as possible. To do so, it was imperative that the vote be unanimous. RIS, LLC, who has done these type sales prior, did, in fact, get the unanimous vote from the membership to sell the two homes via an auction type sale scheduled for the weekend of February 21st and 22nd.

Previously, RIS, LLC successfully liquidated timeshare units at Wild Acres in 1996 and again in 2014 sold 49 timeshare units at Northslope II in Shawnee. In January, 2015, RIS, LLC was featured in an article in the national magazine, THE RESORT TRADES authored by Joseph S. Wiesmeth, Esquire.

Said Thomas R. Wilkins, CEO of Wilkins & Associates Commercial Brokers who will handle the sale, “What this “Auction Style” sale does is (ultimately) reward the interval owner a return on their invested dollar and allow them to re-coop what conceivably is more by consolidating the homes and selling them as a whole ownership home as opposed to selling intervals at pennies on the dollar. To-date, we’ve been 100% successful in our conversions; I don’t think Masthope will prove to be any different.”

The starting bid for either 2-story, fully furnished, 3 bedroom/2 bath home is $117,900. The buyer must show proof of funds on the day of executing the contract and closing must be within thirty (30) days. This is cash only sale, financing of any sort is not accepted. “Both homes are in great condition and fully furnished, ready to use as either a vacation home or a home for the first-time buyer.” said Wilkins.
