Stroudsburg – Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Wilkins & Associates hired six Sales Associates. Hired as fulltime Realtors were Marcel LaVigne, Kurt Homza, Dara Larsen, Merrilee Myers, Ann Marie Kelly and Connie Friedfel.
Marcel LaVigne, Realtor, is well known in the Pocono market place joined the Wilkins organization and will work from the Stroudsburg office. LaVigne comes to BHG with years of local experience in the Pocono real estate market. LaVigne was a PA builder and developer since 1977 and prior to joining the Wilkins organization was a Sales Agent at Pocono Properties Real Estate, Inc. in Marshalls Creek. LaVigne was recruited by Dennis Mooney, Associate Broker.
Kurt Homza, Realtor, has lived in the Poconos for the past 17 years. Homza resides in the Winona Lakes Community. An August 2018 Pocono Real Estate Academy graduate, Homza is working from the Bushkill office. Said William Schutte, Exec V.P., “Kurt has already had several sales and closed rentals. Kurt is a natural fit for our Bushkill office.”
Dara Larsen, Realtor, will work from the Milford office. Larsen is 2018 graduate of the Pocono Real Estate Academy and resides in Dingmans Ferry. Said Schutte, “Dara will be a huge asset to the Milford office. Her knowledge of the Pike area is invaluable. Also, Dara was a bartender and waitress for a number of years which enhances her sales knowledge.
Merrilee Myers, Realtor, joined the company and will work from the Stroudsburg office. Myers has been in real estate since 2016 and came to us from Realty World Long Realty in Blakeslee. Prior to that, Myers was a legal assistant working out of New York City. Myers resides in Locust Lake Village. Said Thomas R. Wilkins, CEO, “Merrilee will be a good contact for buyers and sellers in the Blakeslee area. She is knowledgeable in the Pocono real estate market and I predict tremendous success with the Wilkins organization.”
Ann Marie Kelly, Realtor, was recruited by Kimberly Gay, Realtor. Kelly is local and graduated 2003 from the Pocono Mountain School District. Kelly resides in Swiftwater, is married, has 3 daughters, 2 dogs and enjoys re-finishing furniture. Said Wilkins, Ann Marie is a natural for the BHG Brand. Being a younger person, Kelly is very adept at marketing and transacting listings and sales via the internet. Being local, she’s familiar with the many communities that we service through our Stroudsburg, Bushkill and Milford offices.”
Concetta “Connie” Friedfel, Realtor will be with the BHG Bushkill office. Friedfel has been in the Poconos since 2003 and prior to joining the Wilkins organization was employed at Joan Fitzgerald Real Estate and Weichert Real Estate. Said Schutte, “Connie lives in the Tamiment area which is a very big market for our Bushkill office. She’ll also handle those communities that are south of Milford and north of Pocono Ranchlands. That’s a big area to handle and we feel very confident that she along with our other Realtors will put a lot of concentration into that part of the Pocono market for 2019.”
